Interview with Dj CUTMAN

Earlier this week I got to sit down with Game Chops owner and excellent human being, Chris Davidson aka Dj CUTMAN. In our interview we discuss his methods, his love of FF XII, this weeks release of Holder and Ephixa’s remix of Final Fantasy’s Victory Fanfare, his Newgrounds roots, and his admiration for deadmau5 and Skrillex.

Dj CUTMAN has mastered hundreds of tracks, and started Game Chops to create a professional environment for video game music remixes, and produce tracks that you can listen to anywhere.

He produces, creates images, and often composes/remixes for the music videos on the Game Chops channel, since 2010 Game Chops has been posting free downloads, beats, and mixtapes from their network of music producers, as well as tutorials and how-to videos for making chiptunes, and music production.

You can catch a live set this summer, as Dj CUTMAN will be touring, you can check out his dates and locations here! If you can’t make it out to a show, check out his weekly podcast This Week In Chiptune, or watch something fun on Cutman Plays.

If you want to stay on top of everything going on with Dj CUTMAN follow his main site, because the email list will be ending. All the big news and updates will be on Dj CUTMAN’s website, and you can always find CUTMAN and Game Chops related news right here on!
